Sept, 19, Kitchener-Waterloo Record: Thalmic Labs has raised US$120 million in funding less than three years after launching the Myo armband and plans to double the size of its workforce in the coming months.

“We feel the fundraise shows a high degree of confidence about where we are taking the company, and where we see the future of wearable computing,” said Mike Galbraith, the Kitchener startup’s chief financial officer.
