Toronto’s Ryerson University and Myant, an end-to-end textile computing company, have announced the launch of a new textile computing lab at the school’s Faculty of Communication and Design. Ryerson says the lab will enable collaborative research across disciplines into new user experiences, advanced textile design, and novel fabrication processes.“Ryerson’s interdisciplinary approach makes it a natural partner for Myant and supports our efforts to turn Toronto into the global home for textile computing expertise,” said Myant CEO Tony Chahine in a release.
