The Department of Industrial Technology of the Ministry of Economic Affairs has commissioned relevant legal personality research institutions to co-host the Textile International Forum and Exhibition (TIFE) since 2001. Throughout this time, in addition to exhibiting key technological advancements in the textile industry, this event has hosted numerous forums and invited well-known domestic and international entrepreneurs, experts, and scholars to deliver lectures on issues of common concern, such as technology, inspection, and marketing management in anticipation of such activities driving further innovation and sustainability in the domestic textile industry.

The Textile International Forum and Exhibition 2018 (TIFE 2018), executed by the Taiwan Textile Research Institute, is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, September 26, 2018 to Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the National Taiwan University International Convention Center. The theme of TIFE 2018 is “Smart Function and Innovative Navigation”. Through TIFE 2018, we hope to continue establishing an exchange platform at an international level for the domestic textile industry to grasp global trends, create core competencies, and consolidate Taiwan’s position as a stronghold for global textile supply.

intelliFLEX has been invited by the Taiwan Textile Research Institute to give a talk at TIFE 2018 in Taiwan.  Taiwan is a major high volume textile manufacturing nation and the Taiwan Textile Research Institute has an active program in smart textiles and wearables.
